Lawn Topdressing Treatment

We turn your food waste into soil to help feed your lawn & garden

Benefits of Topdressing with Composted Soil
Improve Soil Health

Soils get depleted of nutrients which disrupts the health of turf grass and plants. Using composted soil to replenish the soil nutrients allows better growth, reduces stress, and supports resistance to diseases. Topdressing your lawn introduces beneficial fungi, microorganisms, and minerals that turf grass and plants need to grow healthy.

Alternative to Chemical Lawn Care

Chemical fertilizers and pesticides harm your turf, kill soil microbes, and are toxic to kids and pets. Additionally, these chemicals run off into our creeks, rivers, and lakes that cause damage to plants, animals, and humans that rely on these water resources.

Composting organic matter is a naturally occurring process that is non-toxic, and less harmful than chemical fertilizers. Improper nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium ratios can burn your lawn and garden plants with improper use or are over-applied. Composted soil, on the other hand, is comprised of organic matter, and when it decomposes it introduces trace minerals, nutrients, and microbes into the soil. Chemical treatments kill your soil over time. Our composted soil topdressing treatment from food waste is a natural way to keep your soil alive.

Improve Soil Structure and Drainage

Yard soil, especially in the San Antonio area, may contain heavy clay which leads to compaction. Soil compaction affects lawn growth and drainage and will harm turf grasses. Composted topdressing treatment combined with lawn aeration treatment improves soil structure and drainage by allowing air, water, and nutrients to infiltrate into the ground.
